Calcite (Kalahari Manganese Fields, South Africa)

Somehow we started making a "Calcite family" of these lovely calcites from N'Chwaning 2.. the time has come to part with a few of these exceptionally large calcites starting with this chap.. they are a moody translucent grey with a good association of manganese, there was quite a large pocket of these specimens and through the years we gradually added to our collection of these pieces as they are quite impressive in both size, features and quality from the Kalahari Manganese Fields.
