Calcite on Dolomite

This is a incredibly interesting specimen from Tsumeb, here follows our theory...

The base is a dolomite that has replaced olivinite (Note the large round hollows), thereafter the interior was covered with this snow white calcite formation. The mystery will be the little black "spots" at the base as shown. As a specimen this piece displays well, it's bright and interesting, to be fair we nearly kept the piece but at a point one does have to think about space hence the decision to offer it out.
