This specimen has been with us for years.. It is a pale pink and superbly attractive calcite from N'Chwaning 2. One seldom gets to see these pinkish calcites, at first glance the immediate reaction is that it could be a rhodochrosite but when you look closely they are simply stunning little pink calcites on the manganese matrix.
