We were really surprised when we were offered this parcel of specimens. The last time we had seen this material was a good 20 years ago! These quartz specimens often get confused with the ones from the "Jan Coetzee" mine however they are definitely not from that locality, rather a further few kilometres north in the Steinkopf area.
