Lattice Quartz on Feldspar

These seldom seen quartz on feldspar specimens from the Erongo region in Namibia are also referred to as “Gitter Quartz” (Fence or Lattice Quartz) . This is as the quartz forms sets of striking quartz crystals that grew out of the edges of the feldspar, it often looks like the quartz itself could be twinned (Japan Law) should the feldspar had been completely dissolved.
