Siderite-sphalerite pseudomorph after Calcite
Broken Hill Mine, Aggeneys, Northern Cape, South Africa. 45mm x 25mm x 30mm.
This is a hollow, epimorphic shell or cast that formed after the calcites where dissolved. They came out from a small find at the mine in 2006 & most definitly there have been no more since then, this is a great specimen for that find that shows the classic habit and colour zoning. Packed shipping weight 90gr.
